All of our bait is live and fresh. Our minnows are trapped and harvested locally and are the strongest minnows in the area. We also offer the largest selection of sizes of minnows so you are always guaranteed to buy the size that best suits your fishing needs. Special Order Firearms and Firearm Transfers
While we do not stock a lot of firearms in our every day inventory, we can and do special order firearms for customers all the time, and we also offer firearm transfers for a reasonable fee.

We offer open water and ice fishing guide services through Hayward Guide Service run here out of Jenk’s Bait and Tackle. Whether you are an inexperienced first timer or a seasonsed Flowage veteran in need of a few new spots, our Guides are tried and proven as the best guides on the Chippewa Flowage and in the Hayward Lakes Area.
Fishing and Hunting Licenses
We are a Wisconsin DNR License Sales Location. We can sell you any license you need from Fishing and Hunting licenses to ATV, UTV, and Snow Mobile passes.
Line Winding Services
Have a reel that needs new line? Stop in at Jenk’s Bait and have us put new line on your reel quickly and hassle free on our line winding machines!
Propane
We offer Blue Rhino propane for tank trade-ins as well as purchases for your convenience! Nothing worse than having to run to town to get propane so you can fire up the grill. Just stop at Jenk’s and we got you covered for all your grilling needs!
Firewood
We offer firewood at a reasonable price and cheaper than town! Price reductions are offered for bulk purchases.
Ice
Our large ICE cooler outside the front of the shop never goes empty as it is filled twice a week! We offer 7 pound and 20 pound bags of ice!
Ambassadeur Reel Repair
We offer repairs and service to Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Reels. If you need a part replaced or your reel cleaned and oiled. Stop in and see Mike to get your reel serviced.
Rod Repair
If a rod tip or an eyelet breaks on your rod, stop in and give us the rod to repair for you. We will have it repaired for you in a timely manner and at a reasonable price.
