Rest and relax with us at Bayview. Bayview is located in the cool north woods of Wisconsin, on the famous Chippewa Flowage. The "Big Chip" is the second largest body of water in Wisconsin, having 240 miles of shoreline, covering over 17,500 acres of area. Within the sheltered bays, the famous floating bogs of the Flowage provide shelter for the fish trying to escape`the powerful muskie and provide some of Wisconsin's finest walleye, large crappie and panfishing. Over 90% undeveloped, the "Big Chip" offers the quiet solitude of wilderness, with bald eagles, herons and loons in abundance.
Bayview's 30 wooded acres consist of a sheltered bay, eight fully winterized cottages, full service restaurant, bar/lounge/Game room, secluded seasonal mobile home park, and a deep concrete launch ramp.
 Cottages: We like to emphasize the comfort and relaxation you will receive from our deluxe modern accommodations. They each have a large living area, comfortable furnishings including hide-a-bed, kitchen with all utensils provided, gas heat, gas oven/stove, refrigerator, shower and lavatory, carpeted floors, screened-in front porches, grill, picnic table and fire pit. One boat/dockage is provided for each cottage. Please bring your own towels and personal soap.
Our launch ramp can easily accommodate most boats if you want to bring your own. Pontoon boat, some deluxe fishing rigs, extra boats/motors (9.5-15 h.p.), fishing licenses, guides and extra freezer space are available.
 Restaurant/Bar/Lounge/Game room:
0ur restaurant offers a full menu for breakfast and lunch. We are known for our great breakfast and burgers, (and don’t forget about our free bloodymary with breakfast!). The restaurant is glass enclosed, overlooking our secluded bay, with a spectacular outdoor view (especially in autumn). Easily reached by road or water, our friendship, food and view won't soon be forgotten. The bar/game room is equipped with pool table, satellite TV, games, and a juke box.

Bayview Also Offers: Volleyball, horseshoes, frisbee golf, basketball, large playground for the kids, secluded sandy beach, wooded trails, picnic area, and plenty of grassy open areas. The beautiful settings here will help you enjoy boat trips, shore lunch parties, swimming and water skiing more fully. We offer a wide variety of activities.
Fishing opens the first week of May and runs through December. Spring and fall offer the best time for those trophy muskies. Hunting in the surrounding area includes bear, deer, duck, woodcock and ruffed grouse. Some of the seasons overlap to make your autumn trip diversified and long remembered. Snowmobiling is very popular in our region, as is cross country skiing. We belong to "Muskie and Snow Country" snowmobiling patch run, maintaining trails that run as an artery from our resort. The "Birkebeiner Cross Country Ski Race" is nearby...get your reservations early, as it attracts over 8,000
contestants each year.
