The Musky Tale Resort is located on the West Fork of the Chippewa Flowage-A vast expanse of fishing water which covers an area of almost 18,000 acres, creating the most exciting combination of shoreline, quiet bays, islands and floating bogs. The Musky Tale Resort's unique location also offers the opportunity to fish the Chippewa River.

LODGE - Brand New in '94
In our lodge we have a full liquor bar where you can enjoy your favorite drink and a cheeseburger, hot dog or pizza. We have satellite TV where you can watch your favorite sporting event. Also, in our lodge is a game room where you can shoot pool, play darts or play a video game. Attached to our lodge are two new motel units, built in '94.

All of our motel rooms are equipped with 2 double beds, small kitchen area, bathroom with shower.

R.V. PARK
Musky Tale has 43 seasonal full hook-up R.V. sites. All sites have sewer, water and electrical hook-ups and are for self-contained units only. Site rentals also include boat launch and dock space.

FISHING
Fishing is always great on Lake Chippewa! Many trophy muskies ranging over 30 Lbs.. are caught here each year. With almost a 90% release rate, the average size of our muskies has been increasing each year.
Walleyes are abundant and crappies of large size are here by the thousands. Smallmouth bass and bluegill fishing is excellent. Also available are Northern Pike, largemouth bass, perch, rock bass, bullheads and catfish. Something is always biting on the Big Chip.
If you have never fished the Big Chip before, we would suggest you try a days guided fishing. Let us know early and we would be glad to line up one of the lakes top guides. If you enjoy fishing, the extra cost is well worth the knowledge you will gain and the fun you will have.

HUNTING
If you enjoy hunting, Musky Tale is located in the middle of one of Northern Wisconsin's prime hunting areas. We are surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest that can be hunted for grouse, snowshoe rabbit, squirrel, deer and bear. If you're a bow hunter, we have a bow season that runs from mid September through December. Our area produces many trophy bucks each year.

WILDLIFE
Deer, beaver, otter, raccoon, porcupine, snowshoe rabbit, ducks, heron, grouse and the bald eagle are common sights in our woods and waters. Also here, but not as easily seen, are black bear, fisher, coyotes and bobcats. Nearby, we have many miles of logging trails and trout streams for you to explore.
