Notes
Fishing reports are getting tougher--only a few hard core musky fishermen left, with most of the action on live bait. This will be my last report for the season. I'll periodically update you through the off-season and keep you posted on ice conditions, weather, snow, etc. Thanks for your loyalty and all of your support all year long. Feb 1st
Well, it's Feb 1st which means the winter is half over. There's probably a foot and a half of snow on the ground and the lakes have 12-16" of ice. People are pretty much driving everywhere.
The panfishing and northern fishing sound ok with the walleye fishing being a little mixed (what else is new-they're normally the right place at the right time). There are some nice bluegills being caught on Moore's Bay and Crane Lake. The snowmobile trails are all open. Don't forgert the Birkie is coming up at the end of the month.
